LRV #3400 at Riverside,
Photographer Unknown, October 1975
This photo is of LRV #3400 in testing at Riverside. Of note in this photograph are the PCC fleet in the background, including the bicentennial scheme, and the presence of poles, and not pantographs, on #3400. Poles were required when the LRVs were first run on MBTA property, as the overhead wire had not yet been converted to allow full LRV operation with pantographs.
